travel united states california san diego mission bay bahia resort

In November of 2014, I returned to the Mission Bay area for a three day stay at the Bahia Resort after a 40 year absence.
I was courious to see how the area had developed and also how this resort had held up over the years.
We got what seems like an off-season rate for a very nice comfortable room facing the bay on the east side of the resort.

On Thanksgiving day, when the cafe was closed and they were serving a huge turkey buffet at another location,
we decided to take a chance on the nearly empty bar patio where we could watch football and eat our mid-day dinner.
We had already had our turkey dinner two days before, so I opted for a steak, Lynn for a burger, and her mother for
a flat bread pizza... surprizingly, they all turned out to be delicious and cooked to perfection.
